The second game in the Assassin's Creed series saw a massive leap in playability, as far as I'm concerned. With the less linear, more open game-play, the more human, easier to understand character of Ezio Auditore, and the addition of gameplay elements such as the crossbow and poison, Assassin's Creed II combines the elegant, intriguing world of the first game with a whole new level of interest. I'd gladly recommend this game to anyone, whether they be fans of the first, or total newcomers to the series.
